The Durer team follows OSHA safety guidelines during each step of the job. In addition to the manufacturer’s dust-free design and operation of our two (20” and 30”) Blastrac machines, Durer also utilizes a custom-built and proprietary dust off-loading, containment and transport-disposal system. This innovatively-designed and fabricated equipment is a Durer exclusive feature which virtually eliminates the manual handling of the accumulated concrete dust that is generated by the shot blasting process.
Durer schedules shot blasting work on a first-come, first-served basis. However, we also understand that general contractors sometimes encounter special time-sensitive situations that require either week-end work, late-night work or high-production deadlines. Under optimal open-area parking garage conditions, Durer’s operational shot-blasting production rate can approach a maximum of 4,000 sq. ft. per hour for each of Durer’s two shot blasting machines.A successful shot blasting operation depends upon both the capability of the shot blasting equipment as well the skill of the operator.
